Single Cell Analysis For adoptive cell transfer (ACT)

OneCell Medical aims to become a prominent player in the field of adoptive cell transfer (ACT). Still in its infancy, this field has great potential to revolutionize cancer treatment. OneCell Medical has developed a prototype multi-parametric single cell analysis device to be utilized for novel TCR based therapies.

The Need

In ACT, T-cells are taken from the patient’s blood or tumor tissue, treated to recognize and fight cancer cells, and then fed back to the patient to initiate effective immune response. Making current treatments capable of targeting specific tumor sub-populations requires highly sensitive single cell technologies for RNA, DNA and protein analysis of human cells.

Our Solution

OneCell Medical has built its first prototype for complete and multidimensional analysis of cells at single cell resolution. Our device facilitates capturing cells of any kind on a proprietary cell cage array, enabling each cell to separately undergo imaging, immuno-phenotyping and RNA analysis. The output is a sample profile capturing all the clinical information stored in these cells. Our single cell multidimensional analysis technology will enable us to identify new cancer targets and TCR based therapies more efficiently and faster than any existing technology. Furthermore, these new therapies will validate our device as a means to generate personalized treatments tailored to target the individual characteristics of each patient.
