Who we are

OneCell Medical aims to become a prominent player in the field of adoptive cell transfer (ACT). Still in its infancy, this field has great potential to revolutionize cancer treatment. OneCell Medical has developed a prototype multi-parametric single-cell analysis device to be utilized for novel TCR-based therapies.

The Need

Cell-therapy is a rapidly growing field with the potential to revolutionize cancer treatment. Although implemented successfully in leukemia and lymphoma, to date there is no efficient treatment for solid cancers. Current cell-therapy strategies aim to treat multiple patients with the same cancer-specific receptor. However, applying this strategy to solid cancers leads either to toxicity or to no effect at all. In other words, current cell-therapy is not personalized enough.

Our Solution

Our vision is to tailor a unique treatment per patient, based on his/her own cancer-specific receptors.  This highly personalized, multi-faceted cell-therapy, specifically designed for each patient, will be significantly more effective, minimizing the chance for relapse. To do that, we are developing a treatment enabling technology which identifies and analyzes cancer-specific immune cells within the tumor. Based on the genetic information extracted from these cells, it will be possible to engineer personalized cancer-specific immune cells capable of inflicting comprehensive damage to the tumor.
